My first backpacking trip from 2006 – destination, Europe. Venice was my first stop.
clockwise from top (1) Canal Grande Ponte di Rialto. Where most people (tourists) get dropped off in Venice. (2) You can’t get away from it – crowds will always form outside Venice’s most popular sights. Palazzo Ducale being the first on the list of most photographed Venetian buildings. (3) The other must-see landmark, Piazza & Basilica di San Marco. Beware of flying rats (a.k.a. pigeons). anti-clockwise from top (4) If you are in Venice for the Biennale, you may just find yourself in one of the quieter corners of the city. Arsenale, at the north of Cannaregio, has splendid views of Murano. (5) The back alleys of Venice tend to be very quiet and reserved. I can easily imagine myself living on this street canal. left to right (6) Within the island, you’ll find quirky bridges at odd angles spanning narrow canals. Stop in the middle and enjoy the view. (7) My favourite mental image of Venice. Tiny unassuming piers that spring up when you turn the corner, where you least expect them.Clarice Fong
ContentEd. It's both a title (short for content editor) and a descriptor (being satisfied in life).
I focus on brand-building content strategy in the digital space. I have a never-ending booklist and I consume varied content on a daily basis. My habit of hoarding information helps me pick other people's brains over tea. I enjoy meeting people and have a knack for asking the right questions. My secret (yet uncapitalised and unmonetised) skill is leading others towards personal epiphanies.
I've written a self-published book on content marketing for a boutique digital marketing agency. Once in a while, I appear in social media to talk about the online world. My latest book project is on mental illness and the Christian community. Some of the my blog entries may make it to another book about singleness in the not-so-near future.
Because life is short and the days are long, I also have a weekly podcast.
