Most people I know have a list of places they’d like to visit. Mine just seems to grow every year. To avoid holiday-planning stress and vacation envy, I set about deciding which places to visit every year.
No such luck this year.
Right now, I am feeling the burden of not having planned enough getaways around public holidays. The only trips in my calendar after February are in May (my sister’s graduation) and October (a workshop). For someone who travels at a rate of six times a year, this just will not do.
(I confess, I did get to travel two times already this year.)
So, the places I was considering for 2013 –
Peru (Machu Pichu, anyone?)
Osaka (my friend is still in the process of convincing me to go)
Borobudur (Jogjakarta – I’ve booked my flights! Woot woot!)
And in the Philippines –
Tablas & Romblon
With two months of the year just about gone, I have to make up my mind very soon. The funny thing is, sometimes it’s not completely up to me.
For now, consider my travel plans – and my life – to be up in the air.
