2018 has been a year of letting go, moving forward, and making room. It still is. In a way, it is coming to terms with what was, what is, and what could be. And the what could be doesn’t have to be beautiful or grand or exciting. The mere fact that there is a “could be” instead of a “could have been” – that is enough.

The past is not perfect. Neither is the future. And that is okay. Because you have the present, in all its grime and glory, in equal measure. It is life, and you get to live it, every day until you die, or until Jesus returns.

Embrace it. Own it. Don’t just survive, but thrive.
